The last time I heard this narrative being told to a young adult, I could do nothing but burst into chains of laughter. This was in no way to refute that possibility, anyway.
Many of us have grown to believe that someone else is responsible for our downfall when in fact, we contribute immensely to that through our actions and inactions.
We refuse to do all the things vital to our growth and development and waste unthinkable accumulated time on things that are hardly beneficial to our destinies.
We give all sorts of excuses when it comes to adding value to ourselves but find zero excuse when it comes to settling knee deep into our comfort zones.
This world operates on the principle of V-A-L-U-E.
No one will be interested in you if you have nothing to offer. And truly, it’s the same for you because you would rather want to be identified with people of value.
Instead of being all over the place and getting carried away by youthful exuberance, settle down and find your purpose. When you find this purpose, settle down and prepare viciously towards it. Focus and give all you can to that purpose and watch yourself win with time.
