In a flash, my part was played

In a flash, I heard a cut

A cut that was undeserved in an ongoing act

Deep in my soul, I felt the pain

The pain of walking out so that the other could walk in

My joy fades now that the other is here to play the part

A part that I thought was mine to play

Mine and mine alone.

Deep in my innermost whole

there is a crack of brokenness racing to its destination

Blurring my smiles and projecting my tears.

One last time,

I will look at you with no regrets and smile at you with no deceits.

I keep begging time to walk slowly and with destiny to hold on

And I beseech our stars to fall in place once more so that we get to act again;

One stage, One script, One goal;

Of being with each other and completing our joy.
